A Shabby Chic gift for ...

On Monday May 5th I will be teaching a class where we will make this pretty, shabby chic gift that can be given to your mother, grandmother, sister, friend, cousin - or keep it for yourself!  We'll start with adhering paper to the wood block, and then we'll make it interesting with embossing paste through a stencil, paint, spray, drywall tape, pearls, roses, vintage trim, netting, grunge paper and more.  The class will start at 6:30 and the cost is $19.50.  Call Scrapmania to register for the class - 377-9999.

Bring to class: a palette or plastic margarine lid, 8-1/2 x 11 piece of wax paper, 2 small containers such as margarine containers, a cutting mat and exacto knife, heat tool, tweezers or a quicker picker upper, 2 small flat brushes, scissors, paper cutter.

If you have these items, being them or you can share with others: tacky glue, glossy accents, brayer

I am signed up to take the class with my daughter but the item is probably a bit 'pink' for her taste. Could we bring some different paper for the wrapping? No is an okay answer.
